Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Project Director, Blizzard Video (SFD / Cinematics) to guide creative development and production of game trailers across Blizzard franchises.

You will lead a team of artists, editors, motion graphics, and producers through discovery, production, and delivery in a hybrid on-site/remote setup. The role requires senior leadership experience in design and media, a strong portfolio of high-impact game trailers, and fluency with industry software.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in design, film, media, communications, entertainment, or related field.
• Expert-level fluency in creative software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Impressive portfolio featuring high-quality, high-impact strategically informed game trailers for a variety of well-known IP and diverse audiences.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the creative lead on assigned projects, guiding cross-functional teams, including clients, producers, game capture artists, editors, and sounds designers, to deliver polished, high-impact content.
• Direct teams of artists through all aspects of video game trailer production, including game capture, editorial, motion graphics, sound design and music.
• Independently develop custom creative pitches for incoming project requests.
• Lead pitch meetings with confidence and clarity, applying tactful but effective salesmanship to communicate the efficacy and merit of each conceptual approach.
• Cultivate and guide creative partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and outsource teams to ensure alignment with project vision and quality standards.
• Partner seamlessly with editorial, motion graphics, and game capture teams to craft visually compelling content that draws on the unique strengths and evolving techniques of each discipline.
• Foster transparent communication throughout the production process, ensuring creative execution stays true to the pitched vision while remaining responsive and adaptive to feedback and change.
• Embody a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, guiding projects not just from above but through active, collaborative engagement with your team and when the work calls for it.
