Job summary

Bellevue Utilities seeks a Construction Services professional to renew and modernize water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure in Bellevue. You will contribute to projects funded through our Capital Investment Plan, working closely with inspectors, engineers, and project managers.

Office-based with field involvement, you will set up projects in Autodesk Build, maintain logs, and prepare formal notices while upholding standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Apply civil engineering principles to public works utility systems.
• Read and interpret complex drawings, permits, and specs with clear communication.
• Perform quantity computations and support payment verification.
• Understand basic surveying and layout and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications, assess deviations, and quantify schedule and budget impacts.
• Manage contract submittals, RFIs, and change orders; coordinate responses and timelines.
• Support analysis of change orders and claims with the Construction Manager and legal advisors.
• Coordinate meetings among contractors, inspectors, consultants, City staff, utilities, agencies, and property owners.
