Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is seeking a Senior Analyst for US Operational Risk Management in Chicago. You will support recurring ORM activities, assist with data gathering, and contribute to governance, change management, and reporting across US ORM teams.

The role offers hybrid work with three days on-site and potential eligibility for incentive compensation. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in consulting or financial institutions are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years experience in consulting or financial services.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring US ORM program execution activities, including RCSA program reporting and risk metrics.
• Participate in operational risk assessments and related program activities by gathering data and documenting outcomes.
• Contribute to project-based assignments across US ORM teams to gain exposure to different aspects of the program.
• Assist in development and maintenance of program materials, procedures, and training content.
• Build knowledge of US ORM framework, governance practices, and program requirements.
