Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, actuarial science, risk management, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; internship or exposure to insurance or financial services is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with a willingness to learn underwriting fundamentals.
• Good written and verbal communication; organized and detail-oriented.
• Potential pursuit of a professional underwriting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk assessment and underwriting decisions across US Standard/Specialty Casualty and/or US Property lines.
• Support pricing analyses, risk assessments, and underwriting documentation for internal approvals.
• Develop familiarity with operations, product exposures, and treaty structures.
• Learn internal processes and tools (Salesforce, Power BI, ARMMS).
• Support portfolio data maintenance and renewals under senior guidance.
• Assist with market awareness, data analysis, and generating actionable insights.
