Qualifications

• Four or more years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of P&C insurance forms and rating rules.
• Advanced working knowledge of underwriting and loss control principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in acquiring and retaining profitable commercial lines customers through sound underwriting.
• Work with assigned agents to meet profitability and production goals by following guidelines and establishing business relationships.
• Manage pricing and underwriting of an assigned territory of business in Texas.
