Job summary

AARP is seeking a User Experience Manager/Director to own the end-to-end digital travel experience and oversee strategy, product management, and optimization across AEM and related platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders and platform partners to drive engagement, bookings, revenue, and satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership across digital experiences, experience with AEM, and oversight of external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Human-Centered Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital product management, digital experience platforms, UX, engineering, or technology delivery.
• Experience leading digital optimization initiatives, including journey analysis, funnel optimization, experimentation, personalization, and data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or comparable enterprise digital experience platforms.
• Experience overseeing external agencies, contractors, system integrators, and managed service providers.

Responsibilities

• Owns strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of assigned technical products and capabilities.
• Leads technical product discovery using member insights, data, and market trends.
• Partners with stakeholders to define goals, requirements, and success measures for priorities.
• Prioritizes enhancements balancing value, impact, feasibility, risk, and delivery.
• Defines and maintains requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and docs for delivery.
• Monitors performance and adoption metrics to improve effectiveness and value.
• Leverages analytics and AI-enabled capabilities to improve discovery, decision-making, and delivery outcomes.
