Job summary

OMNI Youth Services seeks a dedicated Counselor to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a trauma-informed, client-centered setting. You’ll work with English and Spanish speaking clients under experienced supervision and a leadership team that values your growth and perspective.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services field with clinical training in multiple modalities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Current licensure: LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC or IAODAPCA CADC preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling for English and Spanish speaking clients.
• Apply trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to care.
• Conduct intake, assessment, treatment planning, and diagnosis.
• Meet agency direct service hours and ensure quality of service.
• Maintain client files with clear documentation per OMNI policies.
• Prepare reports and enter data into billing systems in a timely manner.
• Participate in program planning and development.
• Engage in supervision and collaborative case planning with staff.
• Maintain communication with police, schools, and other agencies.
• Provide 24-hour crisis intervention as needed.
