Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. seeks a Manager Transportation Operations to lead the execution and governance of shipments across the North America logistics network based in Kansas City, MO.

You will drive service levels while balancing total distribution cost and collaborate with customer service, suppliers, and DC locations. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, standard operating processes, and cross-functional alignment to meet KPIs, with a focus on strategic and practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of supply chain experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS) experience.
• Past management experience with direct reports.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods.
• Advanced skills with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tactical transportation operations with a continuous improvement mindset to achieve high service levels while controlling costs.
• Manage load planning and carrier capacity discussions; ensure timely processing of loads and customer satisfaction.
• Provide analytics support for RFPs and sourcing strategies; stay informed on industry trends and KPI impacts.
• Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and colleagues.
