Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Manager, Transportation Operations to lead the execution and optimization of shipments across the NA network.

You will monitor service levels, balance total cost, and collaborate with customer service, suppliers, and distribution centers to resolve transport challenges. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 5 years in supply chain, TMS experience, and proven people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of supply chain experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS) experience.
• Past management experience with direct reports.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods.
• Advanced skills with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead tactical transportation operations with a continuous improvement mindset to balance service levels and costs.
• Coordinate with customer service, suppliers and DCs to resolve inbound/outbound issues.
• Develop and monitor carrier capacity discussions and load planning.
• Support the strategic sourcing team with analytics for RFPs and sourcing strategies.
• Train, coach and mentor staff to ensure high performance.
