Job summary

Lineage Logistics Services is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support day-to-day operations such as shipment planning, load consolidation, and import/export processes. You will provide customer support for the Lineage Transportation Team and coordinate with customers and carriers to optimize service levels.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 2 years of shipping/transportation coordination experience, with knowledge of shipping operations and experience with transportation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years shipping/transportation coordination experience.
• Familiar with import/export processes.
• Proficient with transportation management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple orders daily.
• Set pick up and delivery appointments.
• Interface with customers to resolve issues and improve service.
• Monitor carrier performance and adjust routes as needed.
• Tender freight based on cost and service requirements.
• Maximize profit margins while meeting customer requirements.
