Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Analyst in La Vergne, TN for hybrid schedule. You will support 3PL clients, warehouse operations, and CRM with transportation analytics and carrier management.

The role emphasizes cost control, service levels, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong data visualization and SQL expertise. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule and in-office three days per week.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in transportation analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, people skills, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Expert skills with Elite Warehouse Management System or compatible system.
• Advanced PC skills - Database: Access, Excel.
• Self-service analytics using SQL and data visualization with Tableau.
• Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes transportation costs, negotiates carrier rates, determines service levels, and compiles reports.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with carrier partners and provide financial reporting.
• Manage transportation of products for 3PL clients and support cost optimization.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to optimize systems, methods and costs.
• Identify root causes of service level defects with the customer care team.
• Maintain department KPIs and support continuous improvements.
