Southern California Edison in California is hiring a Transmission Planning Advisor to lead projects from inception to completion across overhead and underground systems.

You will design, engineer, scope, arrange material, coordinate outages, and serve as the face of the company with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in California and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in Electrical Utility Transmission/Distribution design or related engineering.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and industry practices.
• Experience designing and leading complex technical projects.
• Proficiency with AUD, SPIDA, AutoCAD, and Design Manager.

Responsabilités

• Develop and design plans for transmission and distribution facilities.
• Coordinate tasks with internal staff to meet standards and timelines.
• Oversee environmental permitting and planning efforts.
• Provide direction, training, and review design packages.
• Assess risks and provide cost estimates and project management.
• Maintain system maps and field data, monitor schedules and budgets.
• Serve as single point of contact for Operations through construction.
