Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks a Hybrid Controls Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI (onsite) to join the Powertrain Controls & Calibration organization, supporting vehicle programs through development and validation. Calibrate gear changes and transmission control functions to meet performance targets.

The role requires 5+ years in automatic transmission calibration, familiarity with INCA/AVL CRETA, CANalyzer, and MATLAB/Simulink, plus collaboration across calibration, controls, testing, and vehicle

Qualifications

Powertrain experience developing Engine HW, Controls/SW, and Calibration.
5+ years in Automatic Transmission calibration, drivability and emissions calibration.
Knowledge of calibration management tools and CAN diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Calibrate gear changes and transmission control functions to support performance targets.
Develop and calibrate torque blending, self-adaptive devices, and calibration safety features.
Validate engine/PWT behavior during gear shifts and validate hardware changes.
Collaborate with calibration, controls, testing, and vehicle integration teams to drive validation and launches.
