This role involves designing and analyzing traffic studies, contributing to safety improvements, and collaborating with clients to deliver impactful transportation projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 3–8+ years of traffic engineering experience.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of traffic engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within one year.
• PTOE or RSP certification preferred.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic engineering studies including corridor planning and safety studies.
• Design traffic signals and roadway lighting.
• Manage projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Perform traffic operations modeling and safety analysis.
• Conduct field reviews and document findings.

Experience with VISSIM
