Job summary

AECOM is seeking Traffic Engineers and CAD Designers to join our Transportation team in the Southeast United States. You will work on large design/build and alternative delivery projects, delivering safe and cost-effective transportation solutions and collaborating with clients across cities and regions.

Roles range from junior to senior, requiring familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads, and experience in signing/pavement markings and traffic signal design.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education/experience.
• 2 years of related experience for junior level engineers; 6 years for mid-level; 10 years for senior level.
• Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on traffic engineering design and related projects.
• Prepare traffic CAD drawings including signing/pavement markings and traffic signals design.
• Collaborate with municipalities, agencies and private clients on design solutions.
• Support signing/pavement marking design and complex interchange projects.
