Top-10 AmLaw firm seeks a talented Trademark, Copyright & Media Associate Attorney to join its California offices in a hybrid model. You will handle trademark/copyright litigation and counseling for high-profile clients across media, entertainment, technology, and consumer sectors.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of substantive IP litigation and counseling experience, strong trial background, and a track record at a leading firm.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 2+ years of trademark & copyright litigation and counseling experience.
• Strong trial experience in fast-paced, high-volume practice.
• Experience with trademark clearance, prosecution strategy, portfolio management, and licensing/fair use.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on development, protection, commercialization, licensing, and enforcement of trademark and copyright assets.
• Advise on clearance, prosecution strategies, and portfolio management.
• Handle disputes and litigation matters as needed.
• Provide guidance on ownership, licensing, and fair use in IP matters.
• Draft and negotiate IP provisions in commercial/corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and client communications.
• Build strong client relationships while delivering strategic legal counsel.
• Collaborate with other groups to develop innovative client solutions.
• Remain current on developments in IP law.
