Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead data and technology migration initiatives. You will manage end-to-end migrations of data warehouses and reporting platforms, coordinating between business stakeholders, data engineering, and analytics, ensuring on-time delivery within regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities include planning, risk management, and validation across cloud migrations (Snowflake/Azure/AWS/GCP) and BI tool transitions (Power BI/Tableau).

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience, including data/analytics/tech infra projects.
• Experience managing data warehouse migrations, ETL/ELT transitions, or large BI/migration efforts.
• Strong data concepts: modeling, warehousing, dimensional design, reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern BI tools (Snowflake/Azure/AWS/GCP; Power BI/Tableau/Databricks).
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of data warehouse and reporting migration projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria with technical leads and business owners.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams.
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems to cloud platforms and reporting asset migrations to target BI tools.
