Job summary

Magna5 is seeking a Tier 2 Systems Engineer to handle escalated issues, perform advanced troubleshooting, and provide day-to-day support for managed services clients in the Mobile, AL area. The role requires strong Windows, AD/DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365 skills within a fast-paced MSP setting.

The position is hybrid with in-office work at our Mobile, AL location and client sites up to 40% of the time. Ideal candidates are highly technical, customer-focused, and able tomentor Tier 1 staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support or MSP role.
• Experience with Windows Server and AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support via phone, ticketing system, email, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents across workstations, servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 resources to resolve complex issues and improve knowledge transfer.
• Participate in implementation and upgrade projects (migrations, standardization, new deployments).
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
