Blue Oak Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a hybrid therapist in Ontario, CA who is licensed in California (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW) and can provide trauma-informed care to clients aged 6 and up. The role requires in-person sessions three days per week and offers hourly pay starting at $60.

The position emphasizes evidence-based therapies, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development. Must live near the office for in-person sessions.

Qualifications

• Active California license (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW) required.
• Residency near Ontario, CA; in-person sessions 3 days/week.
• Minimum of 2 years of mental health therapy experience.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Competency in trauma, anxiety, and depressive disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals ages 6 and up; ~30 sessions per week.
• Experience with play therapy and child-centered interventions.
• Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation.
• Maintain timely progress notes and client records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide trauma-informed, ethical, and culturally responsive services.
• Participate in consultation, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
