Job summary

Brooksource in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager for a hybrid, contract-to-hire role.

You will partner with business and internal customers to intake work requests, clarify scope, and define technically sound, financially backed projects for regional delivery. The position focuses on developing work requests into well-documented initiatives, coordinating estimates, aligning schedules with Transmission P6, and maintaining accurate project records.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating cross-functional work across multiple teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into defined project scopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record with infrastructure, telecom, or IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Capture and clarify project requirements and scope.
• Develop early project scope, assumptions, and financial planning.
• Coordinate preliminary estimates and labor planning.
• Create JIRA Epics/Features and coordinate with regional teams.
• Review schedules and align with transmission timelines.
• Lead meetings with partners and engineering teams and document decisions.
• Maintain project documentation and handoff information.
• Support telecom, transmission, generation, solar, facilities, and regional IT coordination.
