Job summary

NB+C is seeking a Designer I to support project teams with varying direct responsibilities while building baseline knowledge of telecommunications site development. The role focuses on new macro and small cell site development, modifications of existing facilities, and fiber networks, with emphasis on producing design drawings and understanding client equipment usage.

The position is hybrid, offering engagement with project teams and opportunities to learn the telecom site development process

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience with the production of civil engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Experience with the production of civil engineering drawings (or similar site engineering drawings) preferred.
• 2-year technical degree or appropriate commensurate experience required.

Responsibilities

• Track assigned tasks and be aware of priorities.
• Keep up with NB+C CAD standards and templates.
• Read and analyze blueprints/drawings.
• Routinely produce accurate drawings in a fast and efficient manner.
• Occasional on site visits needed.
