Job summary

Fors Marsh Group is seeking a hybrid writer/editor to craft and refine technical research content for industry professionals. You will translate complex technical discussions into clear narratives, collaborating with engineers, researchers, and SMEs.

You’ll produce a range of materials from summaries to web content, supporting multiple portfolio areas including infrastructure and transportation. You will perform editing, fact-checking, and formatting, ensuring accessibility and adherence to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technical writing or related field.
5-10 years of professional experience in technical writing/editing for science, engineering, or policy programs.
Experience translating complex content for technical and nontechnical audiences.
Experience applying major style guides (GPO/Chicago) and client styles.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and refine technical research content for industry professionals.
Translate complex concepts into clear narratives for technical/nontechnical audiences.
Develop materials including summaries, briefs, reports, manuals, web content, and slides.
Coordinate with engineers, researchers, SMEs, and staff to gather material and meet deadlines.
Perform substantive editing, proofreading, and fact-checking; ensure accessibility and standards compliance.
