Job summary

Ecolab in Indiana is offering a Technical Sales Intern program for Summer 2027. You will work closely with Account Managers in plant environments, learning sanitation and product quality processes while contributing to meaningful projects that impact customer operations.

This 11-week paid internship includes a hybrid work arrangement, relocation assistance if needed, and a path to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, or chemistry with an anticipated graduation date December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
• 11-week internship program, starting on Tuesday, June 1st
• Position requires a valid US Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record and access to a personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Work closely with existing Account Managers in customer plant environments, focusing on food safety and food quality using sanitation products and processes
• Learn the daily responsibilities of an Ecolab Account Manager and work on value-added projects to present findings to leadership
• Cultivate business relationships with plant staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
• Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test and install Ecolab dispensing systems and CIP equipment
• Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentration to improve efficiency
• Provide industry expertise and training on plant sanitation and safety procedures
• Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to help disinfect surfaces
• Learn how to prospect to generate new business
