Job summary

Ecolab offers a 11-week paid internship for Paper & Pulp Engineering Technical Sales Interns, with opportunities to relocate within the United States and work in a hybrid environment balancing field days and remote work. Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related).
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
• 11-week paid internship program starting June 1.
• Valid US Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete independent project(s) under trainer’s direction to yield ROI.
• Complete safety training and technical lessons for water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in service to customers to ensure correct chemical application and process optimization.
• Learn consultative sales approach through introductory training.
• Visit multiple customer sites regionally (40–60% in the field) to learn unit applications and treatment approaches.
• Build relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
• Gain technical knowledge across regional sales districts while helping customers meet sustainability goals.
