Job summary

Molex is seeking a talented Technical Sales Engineer to provide technical support and drive customer relations. In this hybrid role based in Seattle, you will be responsible for ensuring successful product integration and contributing to the power market segment for datacenter networking and AI applications.

The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with strong hardware knowledge and customer-facing skills. Exceptional benefits accompany a salary range of $150,000 to $175,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as design/system/applications engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct customer-facing experience is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of hardware (electrical, optical, mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers on product conception to qualification.
• Provide technical support of strategic accounts and drive customer issues to resolution.
• Support qualification by the customers, resolving complex mechanical problems.

Skills

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree

3D mechanical design tool proficiency

5+ years in design/system/applications engineer

Customer-facing experience

System failure analysis and debugging

Hardware knowledge (electrical, optical, mechanical)

Hands-on lab experience

Prioritizing assignments independently

Education

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
