Job summary

MediaAlpha, a data-driven customer acquisition solutions provider, seeks a Technical Program Manager for a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA. You will lead end-to-end programs spanning Data Science, Engineering, and Business Analytics, aligning metrics and delivering value for customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Agile/Kanban, SQL, Python, and strong cross-functional communication skills, with a focus on partnering with executives and technical teams alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Program Management or related project experience in an Agile/Kanban-based environment.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with heavy attention to detail.
• Experience with SQL and Web APIs.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate clearly and communicate thoughtfully.
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Python and Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end programs, including defining metrics to measure success, monitoring issues, and surfacing opportunities in systems handling hundreds of thousands of high-value transactions per day.
• Own shared deliverable orchestration across Data Science, Engineering, DevOps, and Product.
• Manage Data Science roadmaps, backlogs and Kanban workflows, and coordinate wider efforts across cross-functional teams.
• Act as the point person for all business requests to Data Science & Business Analytics teams.
