Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer in New York, NY. The role supports corporate and workplace interiors with a hybrid work arrangement, located in either NYC or Maitland, FL as required.

The ideal candidate holds a BA in Architecture with 5–8 years of experience in commercial interiors, and demonstrates expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, plus strong contract documentation skills.

Qualifications

• BA in Architecture is required; MA is a plus.
• Minimum 5–8 years of continuous professional technical experience in Corporate/Commercial Workplace/Retai l Interiors.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents, standards, and building codes (NYC/IBC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Site survey and documentation.
• General site code review (egress, fixture counts, path of travel).
• Assist with budget scope drawings and specifications.
• Technical coordination with the design team.
• Full construction documentation with detailing and specifications.
• Coordinate with client, landlord, and consultants.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Punchlist inspection and close-out documentation.
