Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, in-person university.
• 7 years of relevant development experience.
• 3 years’ experience in modern web and database technologies.
• 3 years’ experience building large distributed, API‑driven systems.
• 3 years of experience leading Agile Team(s).
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; must communicate effectively across audiences.
• Familiarity with modern AI platforms, large language models, agent orchestration frameworks, or AI‑assisted development tools.
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, telemetry analysis, and automated incident detection platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Agile software development team (5–7 people); run daily ceremonies and deliver features at high velocity.
• Act as a player‑coach, mentoring and coaching team members.
• Influence web application architecture and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engineering excellence and reliability.
• Champion the adoption of AI‑assisted development practices to improve productivity and code quality.
• Leverage AI‑powered monitoring and observability to improve resiliency and incident response.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to identify intelligent process opportunities across CoStar platforms.
• Design, implement, and govern AI‑powered solutions including skills, agents, tools, and workflows.
• Promote responsible AI with security, privacy, governance and quality standards.
• Develop roadmaps and translate business requirements into technical plans.
