Job summary

Siemens EDA is a global leader in EDA software, seeking a Software Developer and Researcher for the Calibre R&D team. You will work on high-performance scientific computing, tackling numerical algorithms, PDE solvers, and GPU-accelerated simulations for semiconductor process and device modeling.

Ideal candidates have a PhD (or MS+5+) in CS/Applied Math/Engineering, with strong programming in C/C++, CUDA, and Python, plus experience in HPC and AI/ML applications.

Qualifications

• PhD (or MS + 5+ years) in CS/Math/Engineering with expertise in numerical algorithms, PDE/linear solvers, convex optimization, computational geometry, graphics, Monte Carlo methods.
• Experience in HPC: distributed processing, MPI, GPU acceleration, CUDA ecosystems.
• Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python; AI/ML applications.
