Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Financial Services Organization (FSO) team, focusing on hedge funds, private equity, and mutual fund taxation, including structuring and advisory services.

As a senior analyst, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals, support client relationships, and deliver tax compliance and consulting with a commitment to quality and accuracy in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable field.
• 2–3 years of relevant tax experience in financial services.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing client relationships.
• Provide compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines.
• Prepare or review complex financial closings and tax filings.
• Compile and evaluate data and tax/accounting technology outputs.
• Ensure service quality and manage risks within scope of services.
• Develop processes and gain cross-functional alignment for internal teams.
• Provide direction and supervision to staff and review work.
• Share technical knowledge with EY colleagues.
