AT Recruitment (ATR) partners with a growing accounting firm in Alpharetta, GA to recruit a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager. The full‑time, hybrid role combines leadership of tax compliance across partnerships, individuals, S&Cs, nonprofits, and SALT with a clear path toward partnership.

Salary up to $210K per year, DOE. Key duties include overseeing federal/state/local returns, supervising staff, and advising senior management on complex tax issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional tax experience.
• Active CPA is required (EA pursuing CPA considered).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Blended tax background across areas is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for compliance.
• Prepare and review returns for Partnerships, S&Cs, Individuals, Nonprofits, etc.
• Research complex tax issues and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff, reviewing their work for accuracy.
• Create & maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
