Kforce's client, a successful independent CPA firm located in North Jersey, is seeking a Tax Manager or Supervisor with 5+ years of public accounting tax experience for a full-time, hybrid role. This position offers competitive compensation and a clear career path to Director and beyond.

You will handle tax compliance and planning for diverse clients across several industries and assist in planning and running engagements, including billing and time analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience (1040, 1041, 1120, 1065, etc.)
• CPA is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tax compliance and planning services for clients across multiple industries (real estate, construction, manufacturing, professional services, nonprofit).
• Assist in planning and running client engagements, including billing and time analysis
