Job summary

Gen II Fund Services is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team in the United States. You will handle tax compliance for private equity funds, fund of funds, SBIC funds, and family office programs.

The role emphasizes reviewing tax forms, calculating estimated payments, and interacting with clients and auditors. The position offers a hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two remote days, a salary range of $120,000–$160,000 plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with 150 credit-hours minimum.
• 4+ years of experience in tax, preferably with private equity funds.
• Understanding of U.S. partnership taxation and CPA candidate status.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand client partnership agreements and calculate tax carried interest.
• Review tax forms (W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8EXP, W-8IMY) for treaty claims.
• Review federal and state returns and prepare workpapers.
• Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments and respond to client requests.
• Coordinate with external auditors and supervise staff as needed.
