The role supports tax compliance and planning for individuals, businesses, and entities, with a strong emphasis on mentoring staff and coordinating with assurance teams. A CPA is strongly preferred, and construction-industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Experienced public accounting tax professional with manager-level capability.
Strong review experience of individual, business, and entity tax returns.
Small firm or hands-on accounting exposure preferred.
Ability to manage client relationships and mentor staff.
Construction-industry client experience is a plus.
CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage tax compliance and planning work for individual, business, and entity clients.
Review tax returns and provide guidance to senior and staff-level team members.
Serve as a client-facing advisor on tax, accounting, and planning issues.
Help clients resolve practical bookkeeping/accounting issues that affect tax outcomes.
Coordinate with assurance staff and other team members on overlapping client needs.
Support clients across industries, with construction-industry experience considered a plus.
