The ideal candidate is an experienced public accounting tax professional capable of managing client relationships, reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses, and mentoring staff. CPA strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Manager-level capability in tax practice
• Strong experience reviewing individual and business tax returns
• Experience in smaller CPA firms or hands-on business accounting preferred
• Ability to manage client relationships and mentor/review staff
• CPA strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and planning work for individuals, businesses, and entities
• Review tax returns and provide guidance to senior and staff-level team members
• Serve as a client-facing advisor on tax, accounting, and planning issues
• Help clients resolve bookkeeping/accounting issues affecting tax outcomes
• Coordinate with assurance staff and other team members on overlapping client needs
• Support clients across industries; construction-experience considered a plus
