Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Business Information Developer Consultant – Tax to design and implement tax data solutions, shaping how data informs business decisions. You will contribute to tax data platforms, data warehousing, and reporting applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, SQL, Microsoft DAX, and Microsoft Power Fx.
• Experience working with Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio preferred.
• Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle Cloud implementation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OneSource Tax API integration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation and continuous improvement of the corporate tax data platform.
• Determines how tax decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
• Performs modeling of tax information sources and flows.
• May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
• Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
• Establishes and maintains knowledge of data tax database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
• Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
• The majority of time will be spent on programming and tax system design and implementation.
• Conducts training on use of applications developed.
