Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing Tax and Accounting firm. The role focuses on preparing individual and business tax returns, building long-term client relationships, and collaborating with bookkeeping and wealth management teams.

The position offers a competitive base salary of $75,000 to $120,000, with a hybrid schedule after the first busy season (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
• CPA license preferred but all candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including: Form 1040, S Corporation returns, LLC and partnership returns, Limited trust returns.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service.
• Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate.
