Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist 1 to join the Transmission and Distribution Power Delivery team in a hybrid role at our Pittsburgh, PA office. The position emphasizes applying engineering principles to solve real-life problems with attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.

Ideal candidates will have a B.S. in Engineering or a related technical degree and 0+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day project tasks for successful project delivery, including prep of specification packages and structural drawings.
• Design and analyze Transmission and Distribution lines using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-Tower, or other power delivery software.
• Analyze foundations and existing structures for codes, standards, and specifications; perform electrical clearance checks.
