GAI Consultants is seeking a Technical Specialist 1 to join our Transmission and Distribution Power Delivery team in Pittsburgh, PA. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to apply engineering principles to real-world power delivery projects.
The position requires a BS in Engineering or a related technical field and 0+ years of experience. You will support design tasks, data collection, and field investigations under supervision, with growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Entry level with 0+ years of experience; mentored development.
- Driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specification packages for projects.
- Prepare structural and fabrication drawings.
- Design and analyze transmission and distribution lines using PLS tools.
- Analyze foundations and existing structures for codes and specs.
- Coordinate permits for railroads, roadways, and environmental crossings.
- Support design of Power Delivery projects under supervision.
