Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites applications for a Systems Software Engineer Intern. This hybrid internship requires you to work an average of two days per week from an HPE office in the United States.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable automation solutions, participate in CI/CD processes, and gain hands-on experience across build, deployment, and testing tools. The program emphasizes learning, development, and real-world project contributions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with programming languages or technical tools relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance automation solutions for build, deployment, testing and management tools.
• Utilize best practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Test to agile development teams.
• Assist engineering teams to debug and/or maintain automation processes and tools.
• Design, implement and manage continuous integration, build and package management, and deployment scripts.
• Participate in team activities by attending team meetings, learn about project methodologies, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Actively engage in learning about new technologies and methodologies relevant to work.
• Fulfill tasks and responsibilities assigned by a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback on assigned projects/initiatives.
