Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Mid-level Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will support the software development team delivering a disseminatable data tool for mission analytics within a collaborative environment.

The role requires deriving system requirements from stakeholders, coordinating system integration across teams, and documenting interface designs using standard interface control formats.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a systems engineer in medium-scale (20-100 people) or larger programs or contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Derive an understanding of system requirements from stakeholder needs
• Responsible for end-to-end development environments
• Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces
• Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository
• Applying system engineering principles in the development of system requirements, functional requirements and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
