Job summary

Actalent, a global leader in engineering services, seeks a System Administrator for its Louisville, KY hybrid team. You will provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software to meet performance criteria. You will collaborate with customers and IT teams to ensure high availability of IT assets.

The role requires experience with Windows, SCCM, scripting, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Cherwell, plus a strong service mindset and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with Windows administration and SCCM.
• Experience using IT service management tools like ServiceNow or Cherwell.
• Minimum 1 year supporting engineering applications.
• Experience in engineering services or product companies.
• Scripting experience and software tool development.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure servers, workstations, laptops, and peripherals per standards.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Set up printers/plotters for engineering applications.
• Maintain system standards and configuration databases for critical apps.
• Perform daily system monitoring and verify hardware resources.
