Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) SUV Group seeks a senior Operations & Compliance resource to lead contract drivers, enforce DOT policies, and provide advanced field support for DTNA vehicles and drivers. This hybrid role is based in Portland, OR and requires regulatory expertise across FMCSA, DOT, and licensing programs.

The position emphasizes governance of licensing, reporting, audits, and driver training, with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness for DTNA

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, IRP/IFTA, HOS/ELD, and customs regulations.
• Experience with vehicle licensing and registration programs.
• Experience with regulatory reporting (OSCAR, IRP, EPA, UCR, FHVUT).

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on FMCSA, DOT, IRP/IFTA, HOS/ELD, and customs regulations.
• Own and manage vehicle licensing & registration programs.
• Support regulatory reporting (OSCAR, IRP, EPA, UCR, FHVUT).
• Lead and coordinate regulatory audits, including corrective action tracking.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, recalls, and service campaigns.
• Analyze vehicle utilization and lifecycle metrics; optimize scheduling and assets.
• Lead CDL driver training programs; ensure regulatory alignment and safety.
