Job summary

Honda is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to engage with direct suppliers in North America on sustainability initiatives, education, and due diligence. The role focuses on analyzing supplier data, benchmarking best practices, and driving continuous improvement to reduce environmental footprint and uphold human rights standards.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in Sustainability, Purchasing and Sales, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, or Business; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–3 years in Sustainability, Purchasing, and Sales.
• Ability to negotiate based on logic; manage supplier relationships; work in teams to build consensus; solve problems and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Assess suppliers' sustainability data for timeliness and accuracy while building supplier relationships.
• Establish and achieve supplier sustainability targets through education and negotiation; manage CO2 data via a third‑party platform.
• Ensure accurate and timely budget tracking and processing to pay third party vendors.
• Gain consensus on sustainability initiatives through supplier selection and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Support business need projects and implement continuous improvement activities to support lean practices.
