Job summary

IAT Insurance Group Surety Business Unit in Scottsdale, Arizona seeks an Associate Account Manager to provide day-to-day customer service and support to underwriters, agents, and principals. This role acts as liaison between the organization and clients, ensuring needs are met.

The position follows a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday-Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic accounting experience, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic accounting experience.
• Knowledge of underwriting support processes and basic mathematics.
• Strong keyboarding skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of associates and external sources.
• To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Enters new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems.
• Prepare account service-related documents and client communications.
• Processes renewals, reviewing for accuracy and making requested renewal changes.
• Processes endorsements and audit transactions through communication with agents and underwriters.
• Processes non-renewals and cancellations.
• Maintains bond/account files in accordance with established procedures.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with underwriters and agents.
• Answers and processes internal information requests.
• Prepares, submits and tests IT programming requests.
• Prepares and audits various monthly reports.
• Improves/refines professional skills through continuing education and industry trends.
• Assists in training of other employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
