Job summary

The Wellness Pet Company in Burlington, MA is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team. You will develop and execute the supply plan, coordinating with demand planning and procurement to optimize inventory and support new product introductions.

You will focus on reducing stockouts and obsolescence while collaborating across functions in a fast-paced consumer products environment. Hybrid work four days on-site, Fridays remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics.
• Data modeling and materials planning experience.
• 3–5 years of retail-facing demand management and supply chain planning in consumer products manufacturing.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with advanced Excel and other tools.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority.
• Experience using planning systems (demand planning, master scheduling, DRP/MRP, ERP).
• Based in Burlington, MA four days per week on a synchronized hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan inventory purchases to meet forecasted customer demands.
• Report and track inventory levels at distribution centers and supplier KPIs.
• Monitor inventory to prevent excess and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with operations on process improvements.
• Support new product introductions.
• Identify constraints due to lead times and shortages.
• Monitor monthly/weekly production plans and prioritize work orders.
• Allocate product at retail distribution centers as needed.
• Track movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and distribution.
• Set stock levels to prevent excess inventory.
• Support forecast maintenance and demand analysis.
• Build analyses on inventory health, inbounds forecasting, and supplier performance.
