Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics.
• 3–5 years of retail-facing demand management and supply chain planning in consumer products manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and other tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan inventory purchases to meet forecasted customer demands as forecasted.
• Report and track inventory levels at distribution centers and supplier KPIs.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent excess inventory.
• Collaborate with broader operations on process improvements.
• Support new product introductions.
• Identify inventory constraints due to lead times, transit times, and shortages.
• Monitor monthly and weekly production plans, prioritizing work orders.
• Track inventory levels at retail distribution centers and allocate product.
• Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, distribution.
• Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.
• Support demand planning through forecast maintenance and demand analysis.
• Analyze historical trends and sales activity to identify demand patterns and risks.
• Build cyclical and ad hoc analyses on inventory health, inbound forecasting and supplier performance.
