Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee quality for inputs and services in manufacturing our consumer products. This role requires leading supplier qualification, cross-functional collaboration, and auditing to ensure regulatory compliance and product safety.

The ideal candidate will be located in Atlanta, GA, work a hybrid in-office/remote schedule, and travel regularly up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science.
• Experience in supplier quality performance management and RCA investigations.
• Experience maintaining QA/QMS (ISO/ASQ/HACCP) and process assessments.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with site-level projects.
• Willing to travel up to 75% (including some international).

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and selection of materials and services across the supply chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to bring new products to market.
• Set quality process expectations for suppliers including inspections and reporting.
• Monitor supplier quality data and address non-conformances.
• Incorporate quality expectations in supplier contracts with Sourcing and Legal.
• Monitor complaints and address systemic quality issues.
• Perform supplier quality audits as appropriate.
• Manage quality requirements of Product Development programs and risk analyses.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturing and product development to ensure supply and introduce new products with quality engineering best practices.
• Lead cross-functional teams and internal customer initiatives.
