Job summary

Northeast Health Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Supervising Clinician to oversee clinical supervision and deliver psychotherapy in an outpatient setting, with options for in-person or telehealth services.

You will supervise unlicensed clinicians, ensure licensure compliance, maintain documentation in the EMR within 48–72 hours, and coordinate care with prescribers and internal programs, all while upholding HIPAA and ethics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in applicable field.
• Valid independent clinical license in the state(s) served.
• Know ledge of state/federal rules and regulations.
• Strong computer abilities and EMR proficiency.
• Commitment to professional Code of Ethics.
• Understanding of privacy and HIPAA requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork under stress.
• Supervision training preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatry standards and trends preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in outpatient setting via in-person and/or telehealth.
• Maintain an appropriate caseload consistent with productivity expectations.
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation within 48–72 hours.
• Coordinate care and liaison with internal programs, community agencies, and medical providers.
• Collaborate with prescribers to ensure coordinated care where applicable.
• Identify and respond to clinical risk and provide crisis interventions as needed.
• Inform supervisor and prescribers of changes in client condition or crises.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
