Job summary

Duquesne Light Company offers summer internships that provide a hands-on, meaningful employment opportunity in a supportive setting that cultivates learning and collaboration. Internships are full-time (40 hours/week), paid, and run for 12 weeks (May-August).

Internships are located in Pittsburgh and follow DLH's Hybrid Work Model (described below). Candidates must be full-time, degree‑seeking students enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed their Sophomore year of

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics to assist business analysis and decision making.
• Contribute to projects involving data analytics such as safety fatigue analysis, circuit performance analysis, and prediction analytics.
• Collaborate with teams during the summer internship.
